The driver apparently lost control of the vehicle on the westbound side near milepost 28.5 in Bedminster around 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 18, New Jersey State Police Sgt. Philip Curry said.
Despite suffering only minor injuries, the driver was flown to Morristown Medical Center, Curry said.
The right and center lanes of the highway were closed for five hours. The crash remains under investigation.
